3TREES got its name on all the three lists that the Fujian Federation of Commerce and Industry released on October 5: the 2021 Top 100 Private Enterprises in Fujian Province, 2021 Top 100 Private Innovative Enterprises in Fujian Province and 2021 Top 50 Private Manufacturing Enterprises in Fujian Province.

This year marks the fourth consecutive year for the federation to release the list of top 100 private enterprises in Fujian and the top 100 chart as well as the fourth consecutive year for 3TREES to make on the list. 3TREES has ranked the 45th place this year, up by 5 spots over last year. Facing the complicated and severe situation at home and abroad, 3TREES has kept in mind the larger interests, maintained strong resilience for development, and served as an important force for cultivating the new development paradigm and building a new “six-four-five” industrial system. This year, the federation has also released the top 100 innovative enterprises list for the first time based on the assessment of R&D investment, patent quantity, market competitiveness and other factors, and 3TREES has ranked the 36th on the list.

3TREES attaches great importance to scientific and technological innovation. It now has more than 1,000 scientific and technical personnel and over 30 technological innovation teams. Professor Jean-Marie Lehn, Nobel Prize winner in chemistry, now serves as the company’s Chief Technology Advisor. 3TREES has also undertaken a number of important cutting-edge scientific research projects such as the national “863” program and provincial and municipal science and technology programs. It has established industry-university-research cooperation with scientific research institutes such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and Xiamen University, which produced a host of industry-leading scientific research results. 3TREES has built complete infrastructures for scientific and technological research. The R&D center at the headquarters covers an area of 6,000 square meters, and houses a number of innovation platforms such as nationally certified enterprise technology centers, postdoctoral research stations, academician & expert workstations and CNAS national accredited laboratories, provincial engineering research centers, etc. It is also equipped with more than 100 high-end research equipment. 3TREES has participated in the formulation of 85 national and industry standards, and owns more than 300 authorized patents. It has developed more than 30 first-class confidential formulas, and published 46 papers in core technical journals.
