On December 6, 2021 Outstanding CSR Education Project Chart & the 5th CSR China Education Award was officially announced. 3TREES stood out among 189 Chinese and foreign enterprises and won the TOP 100 Best CSR Brand of the Year award. "Beautiful China · Youth Action", the 3TREES college student competition on the creative ideas for environmental protection, received three honorary titles, i.e. Best CSR Strategy Award, Ecological Environment Special Award and Youth Influence Special Award.

In 2021, 3TREES launched the second "Beautiful China · Youth Action" 3TREES college student competition on the creative ideas for environmental protection (the Competition) once again in collaboration with the China Education Support Project (CESP). This year’s Competition focuses on the implementation of the "carbon peak, carbon neutrality” policy and the "14th Five-Year Plan", responds to the call of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League "Beautiful China · Youth Action", and endorses the vision of a sustainable Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. The Competition supports college students in submitting creative proposals for eco-friendly products on the theme of "recycle, resource and reuse", low-carbon designs for paint buckets, and reusable cloth bags on the Winter Olympic theme "Moment of China, Excellence Together", and organizes low-carbon, green campaigns and communication programs in various forms to promote the idea of green winter Olympics and low-carbon life, and encourage the people to live green by harnessing the wisdom and power of the youth.

Since the launch of the Competition in April, more than 310 teams from 140 Project 985 and Project 211 universities in 59 cities of 30 provinces, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China, Fudan University, Jiaotong University, Tongji University, Zhejiang University and Xiamen University, have signed up, and more than 1,000 college students have directly participated in the Competition and 101 professional teachers have given opinions of guidance. The participating teams have spent more than 20,000 hours on the Competition, produced 289 design proposals and generated 900 public reports, reaching over 3.7 million college students.
