Currently, the company has formulated its own monitoring program in accordance with the Self-monitoring Technology Guidelines for Pollution Sources — Manufacture of Paint and Ink (HJ1087-2020).

The company will install online monitoring instruments for the waste gas emission points and sewage discharge points to ensure around-the-clock monitoring of the indicators, and connect to the platform of the local Ecological Environment Bureau for supervision and management. The main pollutants in the gas emissions include: non-methane total hydrocarbons, particulate matter, etc.

The sewage, after being treated at the comprehensive sewage treatment station of the plant and meeting the required conditions, is discharged to the municipal sewage pipe network and placed under centralized treatment of the East Mafang Sewage Treatment Plant in Yingcheng City. The main pollutants include COD, SS, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, PH, BOD5, total nitrogen, petroleum, etc.

9. Types, Quantities and Destinations of Pollutants Discharged by Skshu New Materials（Fujian） Co.，Ltd. (Fujian Xiuyu Plant)

Currently, the company carries out external tests on environmental pollution sources in accordance with the Self-monitoring Technology Guidelines for Pollution Sources — Manufacture of Paint and Ink (HJ1087-2020), including tests of wastewater (sewage and rainwater), waste gas (fugitive and non-fugitive), noise, soil and other indicators. The main pollutants in the gas emissions include: non-methane total hydrocarbons, particulate matter, etc.

The sewage, after being treated at the sewage treatment station of the company and meeting the required conditions, is discharged to the Shimen’ao Sewage Treatment Plant for centralized treatment. The main pollutants include COD, SS, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, PH, BOD5, total nitrogen, petroleum, etc.

In 2021, SHSHU conducted a series of emergency drills on environmental safety according to the regulatory requirements and in light of the actual conditions of the workshop and production operation of each plant. The main drills include the following:

• In June 2021, Skshu (Putian Plant) held the “Production Safety Month” emergency drill - emergency rescue of solvent leakage and fire accident in PU workshop.

• In November 2021, Skshu (Putian Plant) held an emergency drill on the rescue and handling of fire accidents in the R&D building and office building.

• In August 2021, Skshu (Tianjin Plant) organized an emergency drill on chemical spill accident.

• In June 2021, Skshu (Henan Plant) organized an emergency drill on slurry pipeline leakage.

• In July 2021, Skshu (Sichuan Plant) organized an emergency drill on the rescue of fire accident caused by the solvent leakage in the water-based adhesive workshop.

• In November 2021, Skshu (Sichuan Plant) organized an emergency drill on the rescue of fire accident caused by high-temperature asphalt leakage in the asphalt tank area.

• In June 2021, Skshu (Anhui Plant) organized an emergency drill on the rescue of fire accident caused by vinyl acetate leakage in the plant.
